Hello Brenda. Just for clarification. This is due to a Microsoft bug where the correct name of the system tray icon is now shown to us until after you click it the first time.

Many thanks.

Jim, I did exactly what you said and it worked. What was happening is that it wasn't saying "Local Area Connection" any more and I couldn't see the status of things because of that, but when you said to right click it, that did the trick. Thank you.

Brenda

Hi not sure I am understanding your question.
If you are talking about the system tray then you just right click on the
icon. The next time it should have a name. hope Microsoft fixes this one
soon.

Nothing is working. I even tried to see it when you tab to the system
tray and try to read the buttons. Well, tell ya what! It doesn't even
show up then. Not sure where to go to from here. I can't hit
CTRL-Shift-e to edit dictionaries like that either. Hmmmm. Now, where to?

Take care and thanks,

Brenda
