this is not so.
by default the wineyes hot keys are defined in the program\window eyes
\wineyes.exe folder not the desktop icon unless you entered the hot keys
yourself in the properties of the desktop icon.

I've found it's because you're not left on the desktop, and the
combination
hotkey for starting window eyes is a desktop hotkey.
so, I press windows plus m (or windows plus d), either one moves you to
the
desktop, and then I press the control-alt-windows key to start window
eyes.
