Michael,

So I understand; however, I have had many occasions when the key combination
would not restart window eyes until I had gone to the desktop.  perhaps it's
a vista issue, or not, I don't know.  it's only a "grasping at straws"
suggestion for someone who was unable to restart window eyes once it had
crashed.

Chip, the WE shortcut is assigned from the shortcut in the WE group under
programs not the desktop, but in any case Windows shortcut keys are global
and not specific to where you assign them so this shouldn't matter.
