Ok, the subject says it all.
I am totally blind and I'd like to be able to play DVDs on my
computer. Surely this must be possible with a decent level of
control, but I'm really struggling to find out how. I know a lot of
people rip the audio and that might be something I'd like to do from
time to time, but what I really want at the moment is just to play the things!
So help welcomed on the following:
1) How do I play a DVD on a computer using Window-Eyes and other
software? Can I use Winamp, Media player Classic or some other
programme. The whole DVD area seems to be a bit of a nightmare and I
don't really understand how DVDs are constructed and configured.
2) How do I rip audio from a DVD?
Thanks very much for any help

Hi
yes, but the abillity to asign separate commands for the left and right ctrl
keys would be really great!
People who may not like it, would not have to use it.
all the best,
Martin

Because for many people, its difficult to press control or alt letter
combinations with just one hand. And its also quicker to double tap the
control key and then hit a letter than it is to do a multi-finger combo
for the by-pass key, assuming you remember that combo in the first
place. this way, all you do is remember that you need to double click
the control key if you want to pass that keystroke through to the
application. I was a Winvision user way back when, and this was a nice
feature, simple to remember, requiring no special dexterity etc.
