Has it occurred to you that you might have a fiewall problem at your end rather than a problem at Gw Micro's end?
There has always been a time, immediately after releases are announced, that the server gets heavily loaded with download requests, but as I have seen others say that everything has gone well, and that I will expect it to go well for me later, suggest checking your own firewall settings in case of problems.
