Hi. Well, you've got a few options here.

Firstly, I can't remember if you mentioned what OS you're using? If it's windows xp, vista, or win 7 it should, in theory install just fine. Obviously for you it didn't. So if you're running something like windows 2000, Window-eyes won't run on the platform anymore. The other guess I have is the file size. Usually, I've noticed that when a new update to window-eyes is released, everybody, and I mean everybody! tries to get it all at the same time, and some folks get files that are a lot smaller than they should be, or ones that are corrupt in some way. So, what I would suggest is checking to see how big the file you downloaded might be. If it's something like 28.7 mb, you should be ok, and there's something else at work here. But if it's smaller than that, the best thing to do is just wait a little while for things to die down, then try downloading the upgrade file again. Barring all that you can always request that GW Micro send you a cd with the upgrade on it, but for some folks that's a last-ditch thing. so, take all that into account and we'll hopefully get things fixed for you. Sorry you're having so much trouble upgrading!

Hey guys. when i last didinstall of 7.5.1, i did a clean install of 7.5 then
entered on the downloaded file. no dice. This time i waited a few hours more
then tried redownload the file and run it that way. still no dice. I don't want
to be blocked from downloading future updates but also don't to be one of the
ones left out all because of an error that says this upgrade can't be used with
the current version of window-eyes wich is still 7.5. That's the latest on my
development.
