Hello Brenda, To disable the preview pane:
1. From the TB inbox, go to Tools/Options. 2. Select the General listbox item. 3. Tab to the Customize button, and press the spacebar to activate it. 4. Tab to the Preview Text checkbox, and uncheck it with the spacebar. 5. Press Enter to accept the change. 6. Tab to OK in the main options window, and again press Enter to close it. Guys, I know we've been through this before, but at the time, I wasn't playing with Thunderbird. How do we permanently turn off the preview pane? I uncheck the preview pane in the view/layout menu, andit stays off for awhile, but then, one day, it'll just come back on. Instructions, please?
