I have a high-end server at home, and it has no soundcard inside by default, though I plan to change that in the coming months. I plan to get a Van tech card as they claim to support Zeon processors. I haven't had any problem with the USB sound card though accept that it sticks out of the front of the unit and gets in the way of the door closing.

What frustrates me is that it seems the fancier and more up-to-date the computer, the less we can do with it. I've just spent a lot on this high-powered machine with lots of ram, bla bla bla, and all I'm doing is giving up things I used to have in order to stabilize the system.
