Melissa, you're right about the lack of navigation in Kindle for PC with
Accessibility Plugin. If the user could employ her or his screen reader
to read and navigate the text, what a powerful tool it would be!

The Kindle app is not the most ideal way to read books, but it
certainly is accessible. Just make sure that you download the Kindle
app with accessibility. It is a much larger file than the regular
Kindle of PC app, as it includes its own tts voices. The voices are
Samantha and Tom, same as the stream, though I understand that they
are a different version that what is on the Stream. Previously, W-E
users needed to install the QT Support app, but I don't believe it is
necessary with the current version of W-E. The main reason the Kindle
app is not ideal, is because you don't have as much control over
navigation, and can't review passages with the cursor. To me, it is
perfectly fine for pleasure reading, but not so fine for something you
are trying to learn.

Hey, just wondering, since there's a book I want to read that is
only in ebook format, can I just get the Kindle App from Amazon?
Is there anything special I need to do to make sure it's maximally
accessible with Window Eyes when I install it?
Thanks much.
Evan
