Hello, Josh and everyone.

These articles are valuable as historical documents, and they probably should be taken seriously. However, please remember they represent one player's opinion. Like other highly personal writings, I suspect they contain some truth, but I suspect they contain some misrepresentations or, at least, personal biases. Something I told my students over and over bears repeating: don't be persuaded by the latest piece you read even if it comes from a credible source. Read it, yes; but also think critically about it.
