I didn't *judge* the book by its cover, I *bought* the book by it's cover, used, for twenty-five cents. I judged the book by its publication date (and by the fact that it was a Romance and I don't care for those). The dress the heroine was shown wearing was so wonderfully wrong that I just had to spend the money to get the image. Her hair and makeup were contemporary with the paperback publication date. -- Carolyn Kayta Barrows -- “The future is already here, it is just unevenly distributed.” -William Gibson -- _______________________________________________ h-costume mailing list h-costume@mail.indra.com http://mail.indra.com/mailman/listinfo/h-costume
