Sorry to be obtuse, but I'm still missing it. Re-reading the thread, I'm seeing a lot about not including non-essential fixes in a minor point release, but nothing specific about how to release those fixes that are not security-related. Can you quote what you proposed in a reply? Thanks! It's obvious to me that the release policy is not clear. Ignoring that and your concerns in this thread to rush to release seems ill-advised. Let's come to a conclusion on this quickly, revise the policy one way or the other, and move on completely.
