Guys and girls, I am glad there is alot of interest in this - so to some of the questions raised.
£20/month was an out of the air figure just used and is NOT indicative of the actual cost it WILL require some individuals to pay over the odds just to set this up, but i am sure we can do it! so memberships will probably be more inline with what was suggested being much less than £20/give what you can Yes we know about reading hackspace and yes its only 20 miles from aldershot BUT its too far for alot of people to get to from the south west http://hackerspaces.org/wiki/List_of_Hacker_Spaces check the map here and you will see a hackspace in aldershot would cover a large area!
