The point is to make ChangeLog e-mails automatic. Currently, the manual ChangeLog e-mails are being regularly replied to on this very list. I think we shouldn't lose this "feature", even after moving to automated ChangeLog (aka commit) mails. > How about this: > > 1. Create s...@harbour-project.org > 2. Since you _must_ subscribe to and monitor yet another list, even if you just want to be informed about the changes, just like before. What is the problem with my proposal? Let's make it even more simple: - Add s...@harbour-project.org to current list, - I'll setup the commit notifications, to be brief (no diffs). This basically replaces the current manual ChangeLog mails with similar brief content, same amount of mail, at tha same time it saves every committer to manually send mails, and no subscriber has to do anything for it to work. [ I've already subscribed myself to full-diff mails, so I personally don't care if the full-diffs appear here also. But I have to tell, it's extremely useful, and it saves me lots of minutes for every commit done to the Harbour SVN (even if it's mine). ] Brgds, Viktor
