Let me state it even more strongly - without Intersystems, MUMPS will truly
be dead. It's imperative that they and their users get more actively
involved in the Open VistA movement - they can bring a great deal of
credibility to the movement. Personally, I use Cache for all my current
development. Its evolved into a sophisticated system that provides all the
productivity tools a programmer needs to get the job done. They should be
proud of it.

It's not an either/or situation between the Open Source and commercial
endeavor. Any organization that wants to participate and take advantage of
Open Source must also have products to sell. Not only would the Open VistA
world benefit from Intersystems being involved more actively, Intersystems
will benefit - it's a synergy.
