Is the fan plugged in correctly ?

I *think* so. The new fan is a 4 pin, and the old was 3. For the heck of it, I reconnected the old fan (and connected the current CPU fan to the case fan connection) but it gives the same error. I'm thinking the motherboard must have died, but I can't figure out how it happened.
