You were right, the board was toast. Although I can't prove it 100%, I'm convinced it was heat that killed it (you should have seen the inside of this machine). All the other components tested out fine, however, so I swapped out the board, and the machine works. It's interesting that the CPU didn't take any damage from the heat, but from what I can tell, it didn't.
