Is the difference greater than the difference between, for example, Classical Arabic and Moroccan Arabic, or between Hareidi Hebrew in Brooklyn as opposed to Ivrit (upper class secular Hebrew in Tel Aviv), or the difference between the English RP and the African-American sub-dialect sometimes called "Ebonics"). In those situations, we have only one language code and use only one language code.
