Mingliang Liu commented on HDFS-9457: ------------------------------------- Instead of deleting the previous patch and upload a new one with the same file name, you can simply upload a new version patch with different names. For example, _HDFS-9457.000.patch_, _HDFS-9457.001.patch_, _HDFS-9457.002.patch_, _HDFS-9457.003.patch_... I think both will work just fine. You're right to preserve what was already there, especially the format. My preference may be subjective, plus I don't have commit access as I'm a contributor (not committer) yet. Let's wait for more input from others. > Datanode Logging Improvement > ---------------------------- > > Key: HDFS-9457 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HDFS-9457 > Project: Hadoop HDFS > Issue Type: Improvement > Components: datanode > Affects Versions: 3.0.0, 2.7.0 > Reporter: BELUGA BEHR > Assignee: BELUGA BEHR > Priority: Minor > Attachments: logging.patch > > > Please accept my patch for some minor clean-up of logging.
