I think this is a valid check.
I would add a unit test and maybe cover other similar cases.
[~linyiqun] has added a bunch of Router CLI unit tests, you may want to build
on those.
Not sure there's a need on mentioning to check the log, the actual error would
be more valuable but not sure we have the wiring to get the reason.
