Looks like he needs to do some port forwarding or open up the required ports
for Half Life.  I am inside a LAN on a Private Class C of 10.0.0.X.  I have
forward port 27015 to my Inside IP Address of 10.0.0.X so that people who
connect to 27015 will be able to play on my server.  Let HL do the rest for
you.  Easy as that.  Oh yeah, what is the outside IP address for you
connection?
