a high end nic should cost about a hundred dollars minumum for servers
($50 for 10/100)
make sure it is a "server" nic or you are better off sticking with the
Mobo integrated nic.

ex:
Brand Intel
Model PILA8470C3

Hello,

I'm running a couple source dedicated servers on Windows 2003. Currently,
they are using my motherboard's built-in Marvell Yukon adapter.

Should I consider a more high-end NIC? Like an Intel PCI-X card?

Also, are there any Windows networking tweaks that can help source
performance?

Thanks,

Jason
