I'm sorry, but you're wrong. I've been doing this for about 6 years now, and I think I've got a good grasp on what I'm talking about. The 2800 is on a different micron architecture than the 1700, #1. #2, they scale the CPUs based on yield on that CPU, not by randomly choosing which they're going to make a 2100, 2200, etc. Besides, again, you're talking about a server, not a gaming box, so I ask..wtf are you thinking? Your thought process is flawed, and your money management is questionable.
