There's a working server browser already in the code? So why on earth
say there was only going to be match making? The only thing I can think
of is to force users to try the matching making system, which you knew
they wouldn't like and hence would avoid if there was a working server
browser?

If so that kind of makes sense, but I hope it also answers the question:
Will server operators or players stand for a game which lacks a proper
server browser?

Clearly the answer is no we won't, it maybe a necessary evil for consoles
which have crappy controllers but for PC's just NO!

Surely if this was the goal you could have just asked, instead of putting
us all through this anguish that such a promising game may be totally
ruined by such a silly mistake :(

That's not to say I don't think a quick "play now" option is a good idea
I do. It will definitely be beneficial for new or console users getting
into PC gaming and anything that makes gaming more accessible is a good
think, as long as it isn't at the expense of the experienced users being
able to control their experience easily.

Please don't do a Microsoft and make your products so dummed down that
the advanced users can't stand to use them. Yes I'm referring to the
latest office suite with that god-awful ribbon system which makes
things that have been so easy to do for years impossibly difficulty to
find.
