Are you building with a fully grsec enabled kernel. You mentioned in an
earlier post you had disabled both pax and grsecurity in the kernel. Was
this lo-security kernel the only way you could get past the 'localedef'
issue. I still stall on localedef when doing a hlfs(svn)->hlfs(svn) build.
with jhalfs. After reading what has been said, I took the 2.6.16.16
kernel headers with make prepare. Going fine on those (glibc barfed on
them when I tried that).
linux-libc-headers Apparently you need ~include/linux/asm-generic/* from
the kernel as well as the directories in the libc headers instructions
Adjusting chapter5 found the binutils-build directory missing when it
went to remove it. I didn't know what it had done, so I recompiled
binutils.
gcc-chapter6 Fails bundles of tests on the Resource overstep
RLIMIT_CORE' thing. Only the tests, note.
Coreutils-5.94 barfs on the 'make install' over the enclosed perl script
- the same RLIMIT_CORE thing and this time paxctl is no use.
Any ideas on ways around that one? The Makefile runs help2man, and
crashes. If it's just the man page, I'll go without or cp it from
another distro.
