Go for the triple. It is nice to have the overdrive when you need it. I played 
the Atkinson "Geyer" model at the IHS convention. Incredible horn!  The Sorley 
horn was also excellent. As far as triples go, I would go with a Paxman. My son 
has an old one that is fantastic.
