I normally play on the Bb side across the whole range of the horn, except
that I normally play F# and G both above and below middle C on the F side
(for improved tuning), Low C to the F# below of course has to be on the F
side, and I will move over to the F side for any passage where the fingering
or slurring seems more convenient. So I don't have a crossover point.

I'm strongly of the view that there shouldn't be any fixed crossover point
between the two ranges, and that you need equal facility of fingering on
both sides, so that you can change over as necessary at any time, in  any
part of the range. There are times when I'll play passages above 2nd space C
on the F side because it works better that way.
