Do you really think, this would "musically" be right, a most intimate slow Mozart movement played by a (perhaps wild & loud) middle school band ? I thought allways, there must still exist some sort of respect for the composer ???? I am sure, there are other ORIGINAL pieces, easy pieces, for horn & band. The band director should better chose one of those, but he seems to go the easy way as usual, instead of searching for a better choice.

We're looking for something for my son to play with the band at his middle school. His teacher mentioned having heard a band arrangement of the slow movement of the Third Mozart Concerto for Horn. Thanks in advance. -S- _______________________________________________ post: horn@music.memphis.edu unsubscribe or set options at http://music2.memphis.edu/mailman/options/horn/hans%40pizka. de _______________________________________________ post: horn@music.memphis.edu unsubscribe or set options at http://music2.memphis.edu/mailman/options/horn/archive%40jab.org
