Certainly wasn't directed at anyone; I know there's at least 2 contributing 
authors on this list. As someone who has purchased at 4 different editions of 
the series, I'm certainly a fan. That said, it's always felt to me like an 
outgrowth of the early editions, only with more chapters and tags to cover. As 
a result, I felt a lot of things were covered early in the title(s) that I 
don't see anyone using, and some of the best practice stuff got bumped to the 
end, maybe even missing the print version entirely (downloadable PDFs don't cut 
it for me if I'm paying for a print copy)
