Looking at the photos, the points are all in the right place. Is hugin reading the points based upon position of the photo and which is contributing to the errors?
For example, if x and y is read on the photo based on what is displayed then the errors is understandable, however if the control points are being placed properly on the photo and then the photo is flipped could this be contributing to the errors. Look closely at the control points on each photo, they match closer than what is shown in the text box below. Originally I thought this was a problem with colors (hence my mellow, yellow e-mail) however I think it's a bug in hugin.
