Make a plain reference that does not start with any special text. Follow command with a punctuation mark. Only the first argument is mandatory. See Section 8.6 [...@ref], page 70. and... 8.6 @ref @ref is nearly the same as @xref except that it does not generate a ‘See’ in the printed output, just the reference itself.
