I've had several times when streetview resolution was JUST too low to allow me to read house-numbers on the signs. The house-numbers on the maps are sometimes quite inaccurate. So looking at streetview you could pinpoint an address more accurately. But with the current steetview resolution the signs are usually /almost/ readable...
