Not sure I agree- that just becuase unknown technology may, and probably is, involved in Hum production , that secondary effects on humans ( which may also be secondary transponders)- are out of the question. The broad feeling in my water ( not scalogically induced, I hasten to add) is that there are many strings to this Hum bow - out of either necessity or circumstance. That is why, but for the nuisance of the 'Pest' , it makes a fascinating subject for investigatiion and discussion. Many people, in discussing the Hum elsewhere and here in the past, make comments on the weather that follow some connection.
On the slugs thing , I agree they are equally a pest- and I always feel guilty at poisoning them when I've had too much of them. They are a valid part of creation- if I can use that word these days. I just hope we don't appear in the same vulgar way to any higher , lower or even sideways order that may be lurking around this planet with nefarious intent !
