There is a relationship, it masquerades as LFS- about as much as a relationship as a tart with a client! As far as I'm concerned though, the issue is not completely closed though and, until Hum is nailed. Other physical attributes like Tinnitus, LF/HF EMF smog and general noise will get dragged in, till then. Many people suffering/posting on Hum have a gut feeling ,from what is said- in the main, that there is something 'unusual ' about it. ie: Not normal audio ! The fact that it resists audio recordings and is hard to synthesize, gets heard underground and has a wayward character in extremis gives it quite a legacy. This without any expansion of the medical side effects of (principly) night time intrusions.
