Although not a direct comparison Allan Frey estimated the limit of 
microwave hearing is 0.03 watts per square metre. 

Two points to consider, I am not measuring microwaves and the Hum level in 
my home is certainly not on the threshold level, however, allowing for the 
limits of my measuring I think my estimation of 0.4 watts per square metre 
is of the correct order
