I use a MIDI Solutions T8 and M8. This is great because the RM1x out goes
to the T8, which splits to the MIDI IN of eight devices. The M8 takes the
MIDI OUT of those 8 devices and sends all the MIDI information back to the
RM1x MIDI IN, so ALL knob twists and turns on all gear gets recorded in my
"songs". I don't have to assign things from my control synth if I don't
want to. My equipment list consists of:

* Nord Lead 2 (control synth), Access Virus (A), Waldorf Microwave XT, and
the new E-MU Xtreme Lead-1
* Yamaha RM1x, Jomox Xbase09 drum machine, Yamaha A3000 v2 Sampler
* T.C. Electronics M-One, Digitech Quad 4, Yamaha REV 500, Digitech Vocalist
VR
* Mackie 1202 and 1402

In my studio I also have a Fostex 1624 Digital Audio Workstation, CR300 CDR,
and a PIII 550 running Logic Platinum, but I haven't really spent too much
time with it.

No. Right now I am strictly relying on the RM1x for sequencing. I just
bought a second RM1x and a 360 Systems MIDI controller so I can merge one as
a slave. I recently purchased Logic Platinum for the PC, but I'm only going
to be using this for the final mix down of MP3/CD Audio/Studio tracks. I
haven't considered using the PC in a live setup since all of my outboard
gear (including the RM1x) has been so reliable. It's not worth the risk and
the stress!
