Yo, here's my answers to your questions...

1. What is your favorite mode of choice when performing live? "Pattern
Chain" mode, "Song" mode, or just plain ol' "Pattern" mode?
Pattern mode, because you have to still manually choose each section, and
when playing live, I feel you should play, and not let the sequencer do all
the work, so selecting things is important, plus you can go back and fourth
and stuff.

2. Secondly, what other modules/synths do you use in addition to the
RM1x? If using other gear, how are you connecting them? Motu XT, Opcode 64,
Midi Man, etc...
I use an MPC2000, Yamaha DJX, Micromoog, another midi controller, and my DJ
mixer will playing live. I plan on buying the new Alesis A6 next.

3. Do you use a soft sequencer with the RM1x for live performances as
well? If so, which one and what version? (eg. Cakewalk 6....)
I don't, and I don't think I would because the sequenecer is powerful
enough. If I had a lap top, I would consider linking it to Rebirth though,
cause it's got 303 and real good percussion sounds. I think the cymbals on
the RM1x suck. Every techno track I've written so far isn't that good imo
because of the cymbals, but I can do good breakbeat with it though.
