Here's what the RM2x really needs:
More outputs and Midi jacks
Better drum sounds (or a nice total sound overall)
A 303 style slide command. The glide doesn't cut it.
Switch styles without skips (by cacheing the next sounds or something)
Grid mode beep sucks ass.
Record while playing. And I am sure a slew of other enhancements. But those
enhancements would make me buy the RM2x. Who cares about a sampling ability.
I'm putting my money towards a A4000, which would kick the sampler on a
Rm2x's ass. Plus, if you add a sampler, it's really just a waste of money.
That would jack the price up on the RM2x to about $1,000, assuming it would
release at $700 without it like the rm1x is now.
