If these are for QSAM data sets, does the C program do a FREEPOOL (free the buffer pool) on CLOSE. For reasons I don't understand, apparently CLOSE does not automatically free the buffers. I think the
Well, I assume the C-Runtime does a FREEPOOL. If an I/O Error occurs the field "__last_op" of the "__amrc_type" can be "__QSAM_FREEPOOL".
At no other place in the Manual something like "FREEPOOL" is mentioned. So I guess it is done automatically....
