I don't understand how "activate" would work unless part of "drain" means to deactivate the LPAR. Why not "reset clear" and IPL? <snip> responds to the various prompts ?.. and nothing happens. </snip> are these the HMC prompts or MVS'? I assume that they're HMC's but so you get the HMC IPL successful message?
