Yep! And don't forget about the contract agencies. Companies seem to just pay a set $$ amount for any given position. So, the agencies goal is to find the least qualified "Hireable" so they can negotiate the person down as hard and insultingly as possible, thereby nabbing 50-60% of the pay rate.
