Ted, a slight variation on that theme had already been presented on the list 
(twice, I think).

The last time I was involved, directly, in maintenance SMP/E wasn't spelled the 
same way (SMP) and receivefromnetwork didn't exist.

All I needed was an answer (without personal attacks), so now I'll go way 
(regarding this issue).
