Right. IIRC, the Sx13 abend happens when there is a DD, but there is something "wrong" with it. Like OPEN for INPUT on a member which does not exist in the PDS. Or invalid or missing DCB information (eg: LRECL=80,RECFM=FB,BLKSIZE=90 in the JCL).
