As a follow-up for those that might be interested, I performed the SETCON MODE=DISTRIBUTED "on the fly" without incident this last weekend.
I am not sure our shop is big enough to notice the "performance improvements" alluded to in the documentation. Regardless, that is one more thing out of the way that should not bite me in the near future. :-) Bob -----Original Message----- From: IBM Mainframe Discussion List [mailto:IBM-MAIN@bama.ua.edu] On Behalf Of Knutson, Sam Sent: Friday, June 17, 2011 8:07 AM To: IBM-MAIN@bama.ua.edu Subject: Re: 1.12 upgrade, required PTFs I missed. Has anyone performed the dynamic "on the fly" switchover of *SETCON MODE=DISTRIBUTED* and had any problems with it? According to the fine manual, it is supported as long as all systems in the sysplex are 1.10 or higher.
