I have upgraded our Sysplex Couple Data set to support the System Status Detection Partitioning Protocol: ITEM NAME(SSTATDET) NUMBER(1). However, XCFAS is complaining about insufficient authorization. REASON: INSUFFICIENT SAF RESOURCE ACCESS AUTHORITY Manual Setting Up a Sysplex, chapter 7.6 says: The XCF address space must have adequate authorization through the z/OS Security Server (RACF) or an equivalent security product to access BCPii defined FACILITY class resources. See topic "Assigning the RACF TRUSTED attribute" in z/OS MVS Initialization and Tuning Reference for information about using RACF to assign the TRUSTED attribute to the XCF address space. Here I have a problem: 1. The manual is unclear about what authorization should be given to XCFAS and suggests the TRUSTED attribute. 2. We have TSS i.s.o. RACF and TSS does not support the TRUSTED attribute, but in stead supports a number of BYPASS(xxx) attributes. I have no idea what authorizations should be given to XCFAS, nor what BYPASS attributes it should be given. Has anybody more experience with SSTADET and TSS?
