Kerneels, I am really sorry you do not believe me.
I am not trying to tell anyone anything. The IBM zEnterprise Summit which I attended a few months ago in Manhattan did highlight the dramatic cost-savings that can be realized with server consolidation on a zSeries box and cited a number of successful conversions like Bank of India and Bank of China. To me this is the beginning an industry-wide "seismic shift" much like the one that occurred with PCs a generation ago, only in the opposite direction now. I am sure I would not have been told to do anything had my management not also learned that the competition was actively pursuing it.
