We run a capped z/os LPAR in the MAS. Works great. Simple, not that expensive. There is a tiny loss of functionality (active job output and the SYSLOG is a little behind) but everything else seems to be there.
We do have some interactive DB2 applications that use the DB2 sharing facility. HTH and good luck. -----Original Message----- From: IBM Mainframe Discussion List [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Walter Marguccio Sent: Friday, January 13, 2006 2:51 AM To: IBM-MAIN@BAMA.UA.EDU Subject: Re: limited Numbers of TSO users on z/OS.e We are going to move to z/OS.e soon and we are also evaluating how to solve the limited number of TSO users. However, at our shop most of the jobs submitted are first tailored using simple ISPF applications made of panels/skels/msg/tables. Right now we are looking at a product from the Software AG (Natural/ISPF, or whatever the name is) which provides such functionality. Can any of you point to other products/solutions which could help us to accomplish such task ?
