We have two LPARs that are well over 2Gig real, the larger about 6 Gig. We
have been running that way since we converted to z/Architecture on OS/390
2.10. We spent 3 years on z/OS 1.4 before recently migrating to 1.7. I'm
not sure what issue you encountered, but it has worked flawlessly for us
since 2.10.
Regards, Bill
