That would be nice. Unfortunately, I cannot get the "reverse tunnelling" for X to work via SSH. I've been told it is something about an EBCDIC vs. ASCII issue that cannot be resolved. I can get a X screen on my PCs (Windows cygwin X server and/or Linux Fedora 6) when I use telnet. But I don't really like telnet due to the "in the clear" problem. Of course, all our TCP/IP traffic on the z/OS image is "in the clear", so what is one more security hole? -- John McKown Senior Systems Programmer HealthMarkets Keeping the Promise of Affordable Coverage Administrative Services Group Information Technology The information contained in this e-mail message may be privileged and/or confidential.
