VTAM has let go of it, with the inactivation of the TRLs, but XCFAS is using the other devices that VTAM wasn't and I can't seem to find a command that tells him to gracefully let go. There are other, redundant CTC connections that will take over when these drop, so it's not a single point of failure. I need the CHPID offline so we can get the hardware under it looked at (might be intermittently failing). I'd hate to just pull the CHPID out from under it, I do value my system's stability! Thanks and best regards, Gary Diehl MVS Support "The glass is neither half full or half empty; the engineer who designed the glass simply allowed for a 100% increase in fluid storage." ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html
